Hotel Capitol Hill Ranchi : Modern Amenities Within Your Budget!

I had set myself on doing some homework when my colleagues insisted on visiting Ranchi for a short trip. The cost factor was always in our minds, so we wanted to find a budget accommodation with good facilities. Alongside checking out the status of our air tickets, I also had to check the availability of rooms across a few tourism sites. After I downloaded a hotel app, I found quality accommodation near the shopping centers and offices in Ranchi; it would provide us with a number of commuting options.

Hotel Capitol Hill Ranchi is located in the heart of the city. I was glad to find a place within 3 km from the nearest transport terminal. Alongside following a great standard of hospitality for tourists, this hotel ensures a smooth traveling experience for all boarders. Round-the-clock service and modern amenities really made me wonderstruck. I found this hotel to be worthy of international standards as it showed me through a culmination of exquisite interiors and modern architecture. Most of the rooms of this hotel are centrally air-conditioned to make our stay more comfortable.

Although I found this hotel an ideal place to spend my leisure time, I found it equally good for holding business talks and meetings. The rooms had state-of-the-art facilities and warm service. A few business houses were holding their social events, and the banquets team seemed to reciprocate with patience and dedication. Capitol Hill is ideal for wedding receptions and family get-togethers besides being supportive towards conferences and banquets.

Their services seemed to be tailored to meet the expectations of their visitors. The Capitol Hill restaurant showed me through the option of tasting delicacies from around the world. While for lunch I found a perfectly balanced spread of Buffet, I also enjoyed A la Carte for dinner.

They offered custom designed catering services to all their guests. I was specifically attracted towards their extensive catering menus. They provide a relaxing ambience and their lounge bar serves wines and cocktails which help the guests unwind and enjoy their stay. I never knew when my feet started tapping to the pops and hip hops!

Birsa Munda Park Dhanbad Jharkhand : Visually Appealing To All Senses!

My next destination was the Birsa Munda Park Dhanbad Jharkhand which seemed to be a truly beautiful park with a number of cantons and great palaces standing tall in its ground. The park achieved its name after the Jharkhand freedom fighter Birsa Munda. This place is one of the major tourist attractions near Dhanbad.

I had heard about the natural beauty of this town from my friends. While on my visit, I came across people from different age groups that keep visiting this place all the year round. MGNREGA has developed this park, which spreads over an area worth 21 acres. It is governed by a host of staffs that monitor the areas lying within its boundaries.

Reaching Birsa Munda Park is quite easy. I had to cover some 8 km from the Dhanbad railway station. The Hirak Road provides good connection to this place. One might even choose to come from Govindpur that connects with the G.T. road. I could easily access the Dhanbad airport, which stands within a distance of 2 km.

I was drawn to all major attractions of the Birsa Munda Park. I saw children getting engrossed as they rode on the dragon toy train, which is one of the main attractions of this park. When I wished to relax a bit, I found a large area within this park. Several canteens are there to serve lunch. I was told that about ten thousand tourists visit this place on the occasion of New Year.

During my visit to the Birsa Munda Park in Dhanbad, I had to bear the parking charge, entry fees and charges for carrying hand and video cameras. A visitor needs to shed anything between 20 to 100 rupees.

The park mostly remains open throughout the year. I was told that the best time for visiting this park is between the months of January and February and between November and December. I also heard that the park has a turnover of Rs. 12 lacs during these four months.

Birsa Munda Park in Dhanbad has some good facilities for visitors. I must throw some light upon the quality of water supply and boarding facilities within this park. Members of different age groups are attracted towards the natural phenomena of this park. I was amazed to see that this park keeps attracting a little over three hundred persons on a daily basis. Both for the state of Jharkhand and the city of Dhanbad, this place seemed quite important to me.

Beautiful Landscapes Make You Feel Delighted At Magnolia Point Netarhat Jharkhand

Amongst the various getaways in Jharkhand, Netarhat seemed really beautiful to me as it’s surrounded by the Chhotanagpur Plateau. Nice climate, Cool ambience and serene landscape are all that turn Netarhat into a tourist hotspot. The British had planted some cypresses and pines that move up the sky. I found that the trees were planted carefully amid simul and sal forests. It’s really fascinating to watch the enchanting views of sunset and sunrise from Netarhat.

I found a few places of tourist attraction closer to Netarhat. I’d like to mention some, although I came across a number of them. One of the most important picnic spots that I found near Netarhat is at a distance of 4 km and within a close vicinity of the Upper Ghagri waterfalls. A nice waterfall has also been created by the Netarhat Dam. About 10 km away from Netarhat lays the lower Ghagri waterfalls; it was a sheer treat for my eyes. Leaping from a 320 feet height, this waterfall stunned my eyes. To catch a glimpse of the sunset, I visited the Magnolia Point Netarhat Jharkhand. I had to travel for about 10 km to reach this place from Netarhat.

I’ve treasured a number of snaps in my camera. Moving for about 3 km from Netarhat, I reached the Koyel Point, which is also known for its scenic beauty. The ultimate beauty of this place owes much to the Lodh Falls, which is the highest falls amongst so many falls in Jharkhand. I needed to travel around 60 kms from Netarhat to be able to reach this place. As a nature lover I moved another 35 km from Netarhat to experience the sheer beauty of the Sadni Falls. Closer to Netarhat, I found other places of attraction like the Rajgir, Daltongunje, Ranchi, Bodh Gaya and Gaya.

The natural resources of Netarhat are its primary attraction. I took a few snapshots of one of the highest falls of Jharkhand in Burhaghaugh. From Ranchi, I had to travel some 160 km to reach Netarhat. To my advantage, the place is well connected with Daltongunj and Ranchi by bus. One can even reach Netarhat after crossing Ghaghra by car after he drives till Sisai along NH23 from Ranchi.

Enjoy Wildlife At Its Best Once You Land In Betla National Park Jharkhand!

Betla National Park was the next destination in my itinerary. It is the only national park in the state of Jharkhand. This park was formed by the British with the objective of safeguarding tigers. I was thrilled to hear that this park accommodates the Palamau Tiger Reserve. The reserve forest is amongst the nine original reserves meant for protecting tigers.

I had to cover a big distance as the Betla National Park spreads over an area worth 1026 square kilometer. The national park showed me through a wide variety of wildlife. Tourists like me are only allowed to cover a distance of 35 square kilometer. The place has turned friendlier towards tourists in the recent times, as the forest officials and guides are able to communicate in English and Hindi.

From a distance, I could easily catch a wonderful view of the nearby wildlife as I moved up the watchtowers. For the photographer in me, these watchtowers are a point of culmination as they preserve the scenic beauty within my camera.

I found the rivers Amanat and Auranga flowing through the Betla National Park; these rivers are the major tributaries of the river Koel. This national park even allows another river to flow through it and meet the river Sone; this river is known as the River Koel.

Wild elephants were roaming very majestically and it was a very awesome sight and if you wish you can even enjoy elephant safari. I decided to give it a try since I knew that this was something to boast to my friends back home! I also got some snaps clicked with me sitting on the elephant and enjoying the national park!

I’d suggest you to visit the Betla Park between the months of May and June. Once the monsoon gets over, it’s time for the tourists to flock in. Chital and Gaur are amongst a few animals that allowed me to take snaps, it gave me some very cute poses and I had a field day clicking snaps!

Lodh Falls Jharkhand Lets You Witness The Magic Of Nature !

Being a true lover of Mother Nature, I chose to visit Lodh Falls Jharkhand the very next day I reached Ranchi. It seemed to me that visiting this place would be really soothing for my soul. Burhaghaugh Falls is another name for the famous Lodh Falls, which I counted amongst the key attractions of this region.

Lodh Falls seemed soothing for my eyes, especially due to its amazing beauty and height. Even when I was at a distance of 10 km, I was able to hear the roar of the falls. Counted amongst the highest of all Jharkhand Falls, the Lodh Falls is considered to be a nice picnic spot. Its inclusion in the list of highest falls of our nation owes much to its height of 468 feet from the ground.

I could hear the voice of nature and distinguish it from other voices, and much of this truth is proven inside these forest areas. I couldn’t hear anyone speaking once I got nearer to the sound of this thundering water. I’d like to visit his place again just to listen to nature and appreciate the beauty of this place. The scenic views of the Lodh Falls and the weather draw tourists from different corners of the globe.

I came across a local Buddhist temple in the vicinity of the Lodh Falls. The temple acquires more charm due to its peaceful environment. The ambiance of this place added sheer melody to my ears along with the musical tone of its chirpy birds. Worshipping Lord Buddha and experiencing a piece of this tranquil environment are the two key reasons of my visiting this place. I found both tourists and locals keep pouring in this place, as it’s nicely connected with different locations and easily accessible from all directions. I didn’t need to cope with any problems as all major Indian townships are well connected to this place.

I also found a few hotels and marketplaces that accommodate visitors under all seasons. However, I’d advise you to avoid the monsoon season to set things right for your trip. During other seasons, you can enjoy this lovely place even more!

Parasnath Hills Symbolize The Ancient Beauty of Jharkand!

During my visit, I had chanced upon visiting Parasnath hills. It’s a range of hills located within the same district. My staff in the hotel advised me that it’s a must see place and that it’s still considered a center of pilgrimage by the Jains. The highest peak of this range rises to about 1350 meters from sea level. They would refer to it as the Sammet Sikhar.

Parasnath Hills

The hills got named after the 23rd Tirthankara – Lord Parasnath. This hill is famous for witnessing salvation attained by twenty four Jain Tirthankara’s. I was told that some preachers still argue that only nine Tirthankara’s attained salvation over here. The hill has a shrine for each of these Tirthankara’s, which I visited during my trip.

It felt wonderful when I visited each of these 2000 year old temples. The temples seemed to be of a recent origin, although the place seemed to be quite ancient to me. Marang Buru is a Santhal name given to this hill, as they regard it as the deity’s hill. I had just missed the Santhal hunting festival, which is celebrated during mid April. It takes place on a full moon day in the month of Baisakhi.

I had reached the Parasnath Hill from the northern side, although it can be approached from the southern side. The Parasnath Hill has two routes that are recognized by tourists from different corners. To reach it from the southern side, one needs to reach Isri Bazaar and drive upwards for about 2 km. the remaining 8 km have to be climbed on foot.

I chose the northern routes, which seemed easier to me. I had to reach the Dumri-Giridih road and move past the Madhuban village for a distance of 13 km. You may choose to take a taxi from Isri Bazaar, but I chose to follow the bus route from Dumri that went past the Madhuban village. On my way, I visited a number of Jain temples near Madhuban.

I chose to opt for a Jeep to pull me up to a certain point in the hill; rest of the journey had to be trudged on foot. The distance that I covered on the jeep can even be climbed with the help of ponies.  It doesn’t cost you more for hiring a pony than opting for a jeep.
